Meet Lara

Hi, I’m Lara, a 25‑year‑old traveler from the Netherlands. For the past 3,5 years, I’ve been exploring the world full‑time, chasing adventure, sunshine, and the kind of moments that make you feel truly alive.

You’ll usually find me hiking, surfing, wakeboarding, or swimming. When I’m not in the water, I’m writing, reading, or sharing my journey online. Traveling has taught me how incredible it is to explore new cultures, meet new people, and step outside your comfort zone.

 That’s why I started creating and hosting group trips, to bring together likeminded people who are ready for real connection and adventure. These trips are all about finding your so(u)lmates, discovering what this beautiful world has to offer, and creating memories that stay with you long after the trip ends.

My boyfriend, Jonas, will co-host the trips together with me. He spent 10 years in hospitality before we started building Solmates Travel together. He helps me behind the scenes with planning and making sure everything runs smoothly.
